Another Taste of Wylie is in the books — and once again, y’all showed up hungry!
Bold BBQ Pit was proud to return to Taste of Wylie on May 4, 2026, joining more than 40 local restaurants and food trucks at Olde City Park for one of our favorite Wylie traditions.
Pitmaster Adam and the Bold BBQ crew spent the day serving up pulled pork sliders, house-made potato salad and sweet tea to the crowd. There were plenty of familiar faces, new friends and, of course, a whole lot of BBQ being passed across our table.
The best part? Taste of Wylie is about much more than getting a bite to eat.
The annual event helps support Wylie Community Christian Care Center, Amazing Grace Food Pantry, 5 Loaves Food Pantry and Hope for the Cities, with 100% of ticket sales, donations and sponsorships benefiting these local organizations.
Participating restaurants donate their food, time and manpower, making every sample served a small way to help neighbors right here in our community.
For us, that’s what makes Taste of Wylie such a special event. We get to serve some BOLD BBQ, spend time with the people who support local businesses like ours all year long, and help raise money for organizations doing important work in our community.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Bold BBQ Pit tent in 2026. We loved feeding y’all, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again!
